Kirkmont Center is excited to offer three new camps this year!  In addition to all our old favorites, we are also offering Robotics Camp, Service Camp and a Two-Week Camp!

Robotics Camp – Interested in learning how robots work? Well this is the camp for you! We will use Vex Robotics parts to build basic clawbots and learn how to program them to move around. We will have programming challenges later in the week of June 26 – July 2. In addition to robotics, we will swim, canoe and do other activities at camp. Come have fun building and programming! (Completed grades 7th – 12th)

Service Camp – Service camp is about learning to work together, doing something for someone that most likely can’t pay you back. We’ll be looking at the surrounding communities to find projects that we can assist on. Whatever the specific project, we’ll be teaching how to use tools safely, and how to clean and store them for next use. We’ll also stress teamwork, and how working for a bigger cause can net huge results. We’ll travel to our worksite then return to the camp to enjoy all the camp has to offer, swimming, hiking, high ropes, etc. If you’d like to learn some basic life skills, and at the same time learn the joy of giving back, this camp is for you (July 17-23). (Ages 12 and older)

Two-Week Camp – Come for Sports Camp and stay for Adventure Camp! This year we are offering a two week camp! Parents have asked for it and we are going to provide. This year you can come for Sports Camp on Sunday July 17 and stay until the end of Adventure Camp on Friday July 29. Over the weekend we will be venturing offsite to Mad River Adventures for a 3 hour canoe trip and over to Indian Lake to enjoy the beach. (Completed grades 3rd – 7th)

Camp registration for Summer 2016 is now available – please visit the summer camp section of this website for more.  See you this summer!
